Equipment Policy

JOURNALISM DEPT. EQUIPMENT POLICY
SPRING 2009

1. Students are fiscally responsible for all equipment they check out.

a. If you lose the equipment or it’s stolen, you need to replace it before receiving a grade in the class. No excuses. Signing for equipment means you agree to these terms.

2. Check with your instructor first before checking out equipment.

3. Equipment will be assigned on a “first-come, first-serve basis,” so plan accordingly. Don’t wait until the last minute!

4. Equipment will be loaned out for 48 hours. (Equipment loaned out on Fridays will be due back on Monday morning.) NO EXCEPTIONS!

5. If you miss the deadline for returning equipment, Professor Fox will contact your professor and you will fall down the priority list for the next time you want to check something out.

6. Yes, you can return and re-check out equipment if it has not been assigned to another student.

7. The sign-up sheet is in Professor Fox’s office. He has office hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

8. All equipment requests must be signed out in person with Professor Fox.

9. NO E-MAIL REQUESTS!
